Product Overview
AD500-8 SMD is a circular active area APD chip with 500µm diameter. Ceramic carrier type non-hermetic SMD package with clear glass. Reflow solderable. Applications include laser range finder, high speed photometry, high speed optical communications, medical equipment and distance measurement.
- APD with 0.2mm² active area
- 500µm diameter active area
- High gain at low bias voltage
- Fast rise time, low capacitance
- Optimum gain: 50-60
- 0.5nA typical dark current (M = 100)
- 120V maximum breakdown voltage at IR = 2µA (±2V measuring tolerance on upper and lower limits)
- 1GHz typical -3dB cut-off frequency
- 0.35ns typical rise time (M = 100, λ = 905nm, RL = 50 ohm)
