BTS500101TAEDBTVSTOBO1 is a 12V protected switch board that comes with BTS50010-1TAE, an ultra-low ohmic smart high-side power switch from the Power PROFET™ family used as Solid State Relay (SSR) to drive the starter motor of a scooter or a motorcycle with an engine smaller than 150 cc and cabling length of up to 3 meter. Its typical RDS (on) is 1mohm and it can drive a nominal DC current of up to 40A, with an outstanding inrush capability up to 250A. On this demo board version, D2 and R1 are assembled for protection at worst case condition when the Power PROFET™ switches OFF while the starter motor is in stall condition for currents up to 250A.
