Product Overview
MAX25255DAFDG/VY+ is a small, synchronous dual buck converter with integrated high-side and lowside switches. The IC is designed to deliver up to 8A per channel with input voltages from 3V to 36V while using only 12μA quiescent current at no load. Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the PGOOD signals. This can regulate the output voltage in the dropout region by running at 99% of the duty cycle, making them ideal for automotive and industrial applications. Typical applications are front-end power supply for head units, ASIL applications, general-purpose dual buck converters, telematics modules, front camera power.
- Low shutdown supply current is 6.5µA maximum
- 2MHz switching frequency, 23-pin 4.50mm x 5.75mm FC2QFN package
- 180° out-of-phase operation between two converters
- 24ns (typ) minimum on-time, -40°C to +125°C operating ambient temperature
- Ability to operate two ICs in parallel for quad-phase operation
- ±10% current sharing accuracy, AEC-Q100 rating
- ASIL B compliant, redundant reference, die temperature monitor
- Precision overvoltage and undervoltage protection
- Single output, primary phase configuration
- ON, ±6% spread spectrum
