Product Overview
MIC5270-5.0YM5-TR is a μCap 100mA negative regulator offering better than 2% initial accuracy, providing a precise supply voltage for applications requiring a negative rail. This regulator sinks 100mA of output current with very low dropout voltage (maximum 600mV at 100mA output current). The μCap regulator design is optimized to work with low-value, low-cost ceramic capacitors, typically requiring only a 1μF capacitance for stability. It is designed for applications prioritizing small packaging and efficiency, the MIC5270 combines LDO design expertise with IttyBitty® packaging to enhance performance and reduce power dissipation. Ground current optimization contributes to improved battery life in portable applications. Applications for the MIC5270 include GaAsFET bias, portable cameras and video recorders, PDAs, and battery-powered equipment.
