Product Overview
MPX5050GP is an MPXx5050 series piezoresistive transducer that is a state-of-the-art monolithic silicon pressure sensor designed for a wide range of applications, particularly those employing a microcontroller or microprocessor with A/D inputs. This patented, single-element transducer combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin-film metallization, and bipolar processing to provide an accurate, high-level analogue output signal that is proportional to the applied pressure.

- Ideally suited for microprocessor or microcontroller-based systems
- Patented silicon shear stress strain gauge, durable epoxy unibody element
- Supply voltage range from 4.75 to 5.25VDC (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
- Supply current is 7.0mAdc typ (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
- Accuracy (0°C to 85°C) is ±2.5%VFSS max (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
- Sensitivity is 90mV/kPa typ (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
- Response time is 1.0ms typ (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
- Offset stability is ±0.5%VFSS typ (VS = 5.0VDC, TA = 25°C)
