The MA240016 is a PIC24HJ128GP504 plug in module for Explorer 16 development board. This plug in module is a small circuit board used with the explorer 16 board (DM240001) to evaluate PIC24HJ128GP504 microcontroller. The PIC24H is a general purpose microcontroller which features the highest 16bit MCU performance and excellent code density. The plug in module plugs into the main processor socket of the Explorer 16 board so that different microcontrollers can be used for prototyping, demonstration or development quickly and easily.

- Onchip flash and SRAM
- Four wire SPI, I2C, UART, enhanced CAN 2.0B active
- Low power, high speed CMOS flash technology
- Fail safe clock monitor
- Allows data transfer between RAM and a peripheral while CPU is executing code
- Five processor exceptions
- Wake up/interrupt on change for up to 21 pins
- LIN bus support
