MCP3304-BI/SL is a 13bit differential input, low-power A/D converter with an SPI serial interface. It features full differential inputs and low-power consumption in a small package that is ideal for battery-powered systems and remote data acquisition applications. It is also user-programmable to configure into four differential input pairs or eight single-ended inputs. The industry-standard SPI serial interface enables 13bit A/D converter capability to be added to any PIC® microcontroller. Application includes remote sensors, battery-operated systems, and transducer interfaces.

- Standby current is 0.05µA typ (active-low CS = VDD = 5.0V, TA = -40°C to +85°C)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.5LSB (monotonic over temperature)
- Integral nonlinearity is ±0.5LSB typ (VDD = 5V, VSS = 0V, and VREF = 5V, TA = -40 to +85°C)
- Offset error range from -3 to +6LSB (VDD = 5V, VSS = 0V, and VREF = 5V, TA = -40 to +85°C)
- Total harmonic distortion is -91dB typ (VDD = 5V, VSS = 0V, and VREF = 5V, TA = -40 to +85°C)
- Signal-to-noise and distortion is 78dB typ (VDD = 5V, VSS = 0V, and VREF = 5V, TA = -40 to +85°C)
